Administrative Assistant (Healthcare – Front Desk)

Location: Massachusetts

Schedule Options: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM or 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM

Start: 18th August

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to provide front-desk and administrative support in a fast-paced hospital setting, including both outpatient and inpatient services.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19, including booster (no exceptions)
• Local candidates only

Preferred Experience:

• Prior experience in a customer-facing business or clinical setting
• Familiarity with entering, reviewing, and verifying electronic administrative, demographic, or financial data

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and register patients for appointments and hospital admissions
• Clearly communicate intake procedures and required documentation
• Collect and process co-pays, deductibles, and outstanding balances
• Assist patients with self-check-in kiosks and maintain accurate financial records
• Complete Medicare Secondary Payer forms and update insurance details as needed
• Guide patients through consent forms and other registration materials
• Educate patients on non-covered services and facilitate necessary authorizations
• Monitor waiting areas and maintain a professional, organized reception environment
• Follow up on incomplete registration details for admitted patients
• Address and escalate patient concerns or safety issues promptly
• Ensure confidentiality and professionalism at all times
