A Driving Instructor's primary responsibility is to teach individuals how to drive safely and legally, preparing them for driving tests and promoting responsible road behavior. This involves creating lesson plans, delivering both classroom and behind-the-wheel instruction, providing feedback, and evaluating student progress. Strong communication, patience, and a commitment to safety are crucial for success in this role.

Responsibilities:

• Curriculum Development and Instruction:  Implementing driving lesson plans, both theoretical and practical, tailored to individual student needs and skill levels.
• Behind-the-Wheel Training:  Providing hands-on driving practice, emphasizing safe driving techniques, defensive driving strategies, and adherence to traffic laws.
• Feedback and Evaluation:  Assessing student performance, providing constructive feedback on areas for improvement, and helping students prepare for driving tests.
• Maintaining Records:  Keeping accurate records of student progress, attendance, and course completion.
• Communication:  Effectively communicating with students, parents (if applicable), and the driving school administration.
• Safety:  Ensuring a safe learning environment for both the student and the instructor, and promoting a culture of safety among students.

Qualifications:

• Valid Driver's License: A clean driving record is essential. Must have a Chauffeur license.
• Driving Instructor Certification: Completion of a certified driving instructor training program and relevant certifications. (we will be able to assist with certification)
• Knowledge of Traffic Laws: Thorough understanding of local traffic laws and regulations.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are vital for effective instruction and feedback.
• Patience and Empathy: The ability to remain patient and understanding with students as they learn and progress.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Addressing any challenges or issues that arise during lessons.
• Professionalism: Maintaining a professional demeanor and demonstrating responsible behavior.
