TEKsystems is currently seeking a bright and assertive Install Technician for their Largo, FL office. This is an exciting long term opportunity to work with the leading provider of security and automation solutions! Technician should have previous experience doing low voltage, home security installation or troubleshooting of the systems. The desired candidate will have previous experience with installing and servicing security monitoring systems in residential settings. Some of these responsibilities include CCTV, surveillance cameras, access control systems, card readers, and wireless keypads. Desired candidate should have experience programming security systems such as Brivo, CCTV, IP Cameras, and Fire alarm systems.
PAY RATE:
$18-$28/hr or more depending on experience (bonus potential on top hourly rate)
Top Skills Details:
1. 1+ years of experience installing and servicing residential security systems. Specific panel and programming experience is preferred with Honeywell, DSC, Ademco, Concord, and GE panels.
2. 1+ years of experience installing and servicing CCTV systems including IP Cameras and Networking (VLan's, wireless networks, etc.)
3. 1+ years of experience doing low voltage wiring and circuits.
4. Excellent customer service skills.
Nice to have: FASA BASA Certification and NICET certifications.
