FIG (Factor Induced Gene) Therapeutics, Inc. is a preclinical stage biotech company developing a proprietary intratumorally delivered polynucleotide that hijacks cancer-causing machinery to drive secretion of a multimodal immunotherapy that modulates more mechanisms of the immunosuppressive tumor microenvironment than any prior therapyat a fraction of the cost.
Role summary
We are hiring a hands-on Principal Scientist to lead and execute the majority of our pre-IND in vitro and in vivo work. This role is lab-forward and IND-driven: you will design, develop, run, qualify, document, and present assays and preclinical studies that support IND filing and early CRO/GLP programs. The position is onsite in Valhalla, NY (5 days/week). You will be working closely with and directly reporting to the founder and CEO.
The candidate must have a PhD in a related field with a proven track record in in-vitro assay development and solid tumor immunotherapy research in humanized CD34+ PDX mouse models.
