Job Description

Project Manager I (Hybrid)

  • Compensation: The pay rate is $57.00 to $63.00 per hour.
  • Location: Greenville, SC or Charlotte, NC
  • Duration: 3-Year Contract (Temp-to-Hire)

About the Role

We are seeking two experienced Project Managers to join the Power Grid Ops - Carolina West team. This is a hybrid position requiring you to be onsite in either Greenville, SC, or Charlotte, NC, three days a week, with the flexibility to work remotely for the other two days. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all phases of project planning and execution, ensuring projects meet all goals related to scope, schedule, cost, quality, and safety.

As a Project Manager I, you will have single-point accountability for a portfolio of low to moderate-risk projects. You will act as a unifying agent, providing leadership and guidance in accordance with company policies and procedures. This is a crucial role that supports key company-wide initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all phases of project planning and execution, from initiation to closeout.
  • Ensure project success across all key factors, including scope, schedule, budget, quality, and safety.
  • Serve as a leader and a central point of contact, providing guidance and coordination to project teams.
  • Manage a portfolio of low to moderate-risk projects.
  • Maintain clear communication with stakeholders and senior management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree is required.
  • 1-3 years of related project management experience.
  • PMP Certification or a similar certification is highly desired.
  • Experience working in the energy industry is a plus.
  • Experience in a large corporate environment is preferred.
  • Ability to support multiple projects simultaneously.

Additional Details

  • Work Schedule: 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with core hours from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
  • Mobility: Reliable transportation is required, as occasional travel to other office locations may be necessary.
