Position: Full-time Speech-Language Pathologist
Location: Columbus Location
About the Role:
As a Speech-Language Pathologist at A Step Ahead Pediatric Therapy, you will:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate children's speech, language, and communication abilities.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each child's needs.
- Provide therapy services to children individually and in group settings.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including parents, teachers, and other healthcare professionals to support children's communication needs.
- Monitor and document each child's progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of therapy sessions and progress reports.
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
- State licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience working with children in a therapeutic or educational setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
